The givve® Card can be used for payment at the acceptance partners of the selected setup. You can see which setup is selected for your card in the givve® Card app or in the givve® Card portal in the "my card" information.

Possible setups of the givve® Card
Regional setup
Many merchants from one region
Depending on your settings, you can pay at all Mastercard acceptance points in your selected region or at all givve® acceptance partners. Please note that online payments are not possible.
You can see which region and which points of acceptance are selected for your card in the givve® Card app or in the givve® Card portal in the "my card" information.
Merchant setup
One provider nationwide
You can pay at a selected givve® acceptance partner nationwide in all branches as well as online. You can see which provider is selected for your card in the givve® Card app or in the givve® Card portal in the "my card" information.
Unrestricted setup
The unrestricted setup of the givve® Card is available for bonus payments. If the card is only used for this purpose, the givve® Card can be used to make payments at all Mastercard acceptance points throughout Germany.
Please note: Loadings in the unrestricted setup are cash benefits and not benefits in kind (Section 8 (1) Sentence 3 EStG) or benefits in kind (Section 37b EStG) and may constitute a cash benefit subject to wage tax and social security contributions.
Acceptance partners
The number of partners in the givve® acceptance network is growing steadily and rapidly. By the end of 2022, we expect to have more than 200 acceptance partners.
